What is a /brag page?

A /brag page is a personal page where you tell people about your professional wins — what have you shipped, what are you definitely the best at, what excites you the most about your work? It is an evolving and opinionated record of your career.

This is a collection of all /brag pages submitted by users.

Isn't that what that blue app does?

Not even close. That app is a platform that owns your data, curates your presentation and buries your wins in an algorithm. A /brag page is yours - your domain, your format, your voice. Do it as you please. Share it with us, please.

Who came up with \brag pages?

Aaron Francis, the 2x dad of twins and father of Solo (not a Solo dad though, kudos to Jenifer) and Ian Landsman, The Business Dad, initiated the talks about brag pages on episode 132 of The Mostly Technical Podcast.

How to submit a /brag page?

Open a pull request on the GitHub repo and add your entry to brags.json. The submit page has all the details.

How to remove my page from the list?

To remove your page from the list, simply open an issue on GitHub or better yet open a PR removing your entry from the data file.

How does this website work?
